Job Announcement for Assistant Regional Representative Director

As MAsT International continues to grow and serve more people living in a Master/slave dynamic, the Board of Directors is adding an Assistant Regional Representative Director position to work in support of the activities of the Membership Director. The Assistant Director (AD) is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors. The position is elected by the Board of Directors to assist a specific Director and his/her term of service is 2-years with re-election eligible.

Requirements: The applicant shall have education and/or practical experience with a large organization that is directly applicable to the Board position and at least two years of practical experience leading or managing within MAsT International.
Personal qualities desired are:

� being respected by the M/s community;
� demonstrating reliablility, and trustworthiness;
� having respect for policies and procedures;
� being forthright, authentic and willing to contribute as a team member.

Skills and Competencies:

� communicating effectively;
� ensuring regional compliance in data and reporting;
� possessing intuitive decision making and problem management skills;
� acting as a resource for educating Regional Representatives and Assistants;
� assisting with training sessions;
� leading by example, networking, thinking politically and being approachable.

Responsibilities: The Assistant Director shall be responsible for:
� assisting the Director to provide Regional Representatives and Assistants with an understanding of their role and;
� managing administrative functions and ensuring compliance of chapters;
� fulfilling duties delegated by the Director;
� attending and/or presiding over meetings and trainings;
� helping plan, organize, and implement processes and procedures;
� working well with people at every level.
