Good evening, MAsT members,
As of January 1, I am no longer serving as CEO/President of MAsT International. Over the past 12 years, I have had the honor of serving MAsT in a variety of roles, and I will truly miss being part of the organization’s leadership. The MAsT International Board of Directors, Regional Council, and Chapter Directors are among the most committed individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Throughout my time with MAsT, I tried to live by the mantra of “serve where you are asked,” and my involvement in this organization gave me many meaningful opportunities to do just that.
I would like to take a moment to thank several individuals who played an important role in my journey of community service.
First and foremost, I want to thank Master D and Lady Ningal, who encouraged me to take the Treasurer position with MAsT: Wilmington, DE. That opportunity began my journey in MAsT service, and I will always be grateful to you for opening that door. Thank you.
Thank you to slave passion for recommending me for the role of Northeast Assistant Regional Representative and later Northeast Regional Representative. Those roles allowed me to serve the Northeast Region and work with the many amazing Chapter Directors there. I truly appreciate the opportunity.
I would also like to thank MsSuzan, who was CEO/President when I was elected to the Board of Directors as Assistant Membership Director and later Membership Director. You were always an exceptional leader and an even better friend. I deeply value your advice, your confidence in me, and our many personal conversations.
Thank you as well to Master Michael, my predecessor as CEO/President, who gave me the opportunity to serve as Regional Representative Director and later Director of Operations on the Board. Although I never set out to become CEO/President of MAsT, your leadership helped prepare me to step forward and serve when asked.
I am pleased to announce that the new CEO/Chair of MAsT International will be Master Dante Amor. Please join me in welcoming him to the role and giving him the support he deserves. I am confident that Master Dante Amor, along with Master Paul, Master John, koneko, Kay Danni, slavegirl j, kara shishi, and Secret Storybook, will continue the great work that makes MAsT International such an exceptional organization.
Serving on the MAsT International Board of Directors is often a thankless job, and many members may not realize the amount of time and effort these individuals volunteer to ensure the organization’s success. I want to express my sincere appreciation for their dedication.
To everyone with whom I have had the privilege of sharing time and space, thank you. I truly value those interactions and hope our meetings were as memorable for you as they have been for me.
MAsT remains a vital part of our community, providing a safe and supportive space for those interested in Master/slave education and connection. I feel that I have given all that I can, and the time has come for me to pass the torch and step aside.
